Double click on the Volume Control icon in the bottom right hand side of your computer screen, alternatively type "sndvol32" at the run command.

This will open the volume control window, and should look a little like this:

The names of these controls may be different from above and the amount of controls shown will also vary from PC to PC.

Select options then properties from the pull down menu this will display a new window.
